MC SCOW

The MC Scow is one of the largest, most popular one-design fleets in North America.  The scow design maximizes speed and provides unmatched stability.  The 16 ft. MC Scow is a flat bottomed boat that is usually single-handed, but can accommodate a second crew member.  The MC Scow has a single, cat rigged sail, and instead of a centerboard, it has two bilge boards that extend at a slight angle, which significantly increases stability and pointing capability.  The shape of the hull, combined with the large sail plan, makes for a fast stable ride.  Despite being only 16 feet long, the MC Scow can keep pace with many of the larger racing boats.  It will challenge your sailing skills, while at the same time enhancing the fun factor sailing this boat.
