Learn to Sail 201 Cost: $300 This sailing course is designed for students who have completed our Intro to Sailing class or have some sailing experience and want more competence. This class features more on-the-water time (tiller time) so you become more competent with your skills. This intense one week course, (three weeknights followed by Saturday morning race/sail) will challenge you to quickly grasp and apply what you are learning.    To make the most of this class combine it with a Boat share Membership so you can sail all summer long. Bring a friend (future crew) for a discounted rate of $240. Instruction begins with a rigging lot "outdoor classroom" portion followed by on-the-water practice.   Advance rigging adjustments, sail trim for jib and main, boat positioning on a course with other boats are skills that will be taught.  Further practice on the basics - launching, sailing upwind and downwind, starting and stopping, right-of-way rules, and docking.  One instructor and two students per boat. All sessions are on the water and meet at the Lake Jacomo Marina Rigging Lot  6:30 pm to 9:00 pm.  Saturday session starts at the Lake Jacomo Dry Sail Lot C 8:00 am until 12 pm.
