Sea Scouts Program

Did you know Sea Scouts exist right here in Blue Springs MO?    Sea Scouts is an extension of the Scouts BSA Program.   Straight off the Sea Scouts . org web page "For over 100 years Sea Scouting has promoted better citizenship and improved members’ boating skills through instruction and practice in water safety, boating skills, outdoor, social, service experiences, and knowledge of our maritime heritage."  Here at the Jacomo Sailing Club we started a ship about 2 years ago.  Our primary focus is to teach our youth to sail and then let them race with us.  We meet Wednesday evenings.  Our meeting times an locations vary a bit so it is better to contact us at SeaScouts@Jacomosailingclub.org.  If you are ready to jump right in there is a QR code below that will allow you to begin the registration process.

We don't charge for scouts and they are not members of the club but you may see them around they may help, teach lessons, crew your boat or beat you in a race.
